An Informed Decision?
I do hope that if this person, and especially their relative, was put in the RCMP WPP, they were well informed about the decision they were quickly forced to make.
This is just a news story for the public and a case file for those in the justice system, but for these people and their loved ones, it is a hell that, thankfully, only a few ever have to experience.
That is without any incompetence, negligence or fighting with WPP.
If I were in the judge's position, with all I know now about Canada's Witness Protection Program, would I have recommended they enter?
It is a true struggle to answer that question.
That is sad!
