Stand Up For the Good Ones
I turn 60 in two days, and have been around the RCMP members since I was recruited as an informant at fifteen.
They directed me for most of my adult life, from takedown to takedown, until it came to an end with a bad operation for me and a victim, but good for them.
I helped to shut down the Hells Angels clubhouse in Halifax.
Testifying in the subsequent murder trials for the next nineteen years, while simultaneously dealing with RCMP Witness Protection, meant many more years with members around me and NHQ guiding the direction of my life.
All that to say, I have much lived experience with the RCMP and the Canadian Justice System. (Including two lawsuits in Federal Court)
I have gotten to know and watched way too many good members die unnecessarily.
It is time the force stopped shooting their wounded and started putting the well-being of both present members and former members as a priority!
They offered to put their life on the line for the good of society....
Not for you to kill them with your politics, greed and arrogance!
